Sweet almond oil is a carrier oil that is used most frequently in essential oil blends for the skin. It is a good, all-purpose, popular and moderately priced carrier oil, and is suitable for all skin types, especially dry, mature or sensitive skin. This carrier oil is pale yellow, almost odorless and has excellent emollient (soothing) properties. It is rich in vitamins, minerals and protein and its use in cosmetics for its therapeutic properties is extensive.

This carrier oil contains vitamins A, B1, B2, B6 and E, minerals,, fatty acids, and proteins.
