Cinnamon Leaf Essential Oil is antibacterial, anti-depressant, anti-infectious, anti-inflammatory, as well as antiseptic, antiparasitic and antiviral.  It is also an immune stimulant and purifier.

Historical uses for this oil include: the ancient Chinese would add it to just about every prescription. It was though of as a tranquilizer, tonic and stomachic, as well as being good for depression and a weak heart.  Other possible uses include colds and coughs, digestion, exhaustion, flu, and infections.

Current uses for cinnamon leaf essential oil:  add a few drops to a wool dryer ball – the heat of the dryer will transfer the scent.  Place a few drops in a wax warmer, along with a tablespoon of coconut oil to release the scent into the air.  Place a few drops into your bath water to create a feeling of calm.  Put a drop on your pillowcase to promote a restful sleep.  Add a few drops of the oil to your household cleansers.  As you wipe down surfaces, the oil leaves behind a nontoxic scent that some studies claim may help reduce bacteria growth.
